DRILLING & RESERVOIR
Introduction

The course will cover the use of well pressures and flow rates for the evaluation of a reservoir surrounding the tested well. Course will provide participants with a comprehensive theoretical and practical knowledge of well test analysis techniques. Emphasis will be placed on the practical aspects of well testing - a number of relevant examples will be presented. The use of analysis results to assist in decision making related to reservoir development and well completion will be illustrated through real-life case histories. Attendees are encouraged to bring well tests used in recent projects for discussion.

Objective
    1. The participants should learn the basic aspects of various types of fluid flow in the gas/oil reservoir.
    2. They should understand reservoir behavior and predict its performance under different conditions of production control.
    3. They should understand how to determine the ability of a formation to deliver reservoir fluids.
Audience

Reservoir and Production Engineers

MAESTRO CONSULTANTS Certificate of Completion for delegates who attend and complete the training course

Methodology

Our courses are highly interactive, typically taking a case study approach that we have found to be an effective method of fostering discussions and transferring knowledge. Participants will learn by active participation during the program through the use of individual exercises, questionnaires, team exercises, training videos and discussions of “real life” issues in their organizations.
The material has been designed to enable delegates to apply all of the material with immediate effect back in the workplace.
